Founded in 2003 after 1 year hardware development with leveraging 15 years experience of multi-tasking, multi-user software application design, NComputing is a privately-held company established by Young Song, a former co-founder and executive of eMachines, Inc. (acquired by Gateway) and Klaus Maier, CEO of Hydrapark GmbH.
In January 2003, Young Song and Klaus Maier started to research sharing computing technology over the TCP/IP without using traditional x86 CPU and chipsets. After verification of proof of concept in October 2003, Young Song and Klaus Maier jointly established NComputing to further develop the PC sharing technology, and to manufacture and distribute products that utilize the PC sharing technology to worldwide markets. Today, NComputing is growing quickly to meet the demand for its compelling product technology.
